It is with regret and disappointment that the Oak Creek Lions Club must announce the cancellation of our 2020 LionsFest. We waited until the 11^th hour to meet, discuss and analyze the current status of the virus situation hoping for an improvement or a positive trend. At the end of the day, we realized that under current circumstances, a safe festival for our members, our hundreds of volunteers and especially our patrons could not possibly occur. We highly value our reputation and stature with the public and with our beloved city of Oak Creek along with the health and safety of those in this city. To put any of this in jeopardy goes well against what the Oak Creek Lions stand for. This is the first time since 1959 Oak Creek has not had a LionsFest. Over the years, we have raised well over 2.5 million dollars that was donated back into hundreds of charitable causes. So this is obviously heartbreaking for us. The needs of the many always outweigh the needs of the few. Life will go on and the LionsFest will be back bigger, stronger and more determined in 2021. We Promise!
